I went back where I found the CC silver dime. I was sure hoping my luck would hold out for another cc mark! Crazy for me to find another seated the next day. 1878 Philadelphia mint. I'm very very excited to find the Clarendon hotel tag. The hotel was located in Leadville and had an interesting history and served as a hospital during the Spanish Flu. When I picked it up I almost threw it down. I dig lots of copper pieces, good thing I saw the hole, and rubbed the dirt off a little! The key was slightly nearby, close enough for me to say they probably go together. The little lead seal is intriguing but I can't quite read it. Happy Hunting!!
