Lower Back Started Feeling Sore by the time I rapidly walked to the farthest point to the N.E. Corner to start. But soon forgot about it.

LOL Believe me I'm Shocked , Happy & Proud of this.
Just Last year, I would have Never attempted that.
I would have Drove over. The pain in my Chest would have been too Much to Bear.
and My Breathing would have Meant I'm done. call an ambulance :laughing7:
now instead of my heart it's back issues, but even they seem to be letting up finally.

I wish I had 60 degree weather! It's running close to 90 down here.

66 degrees? Wow. Nice hunt. Gotta be a big ole ring there somewhere.Congrats :icon_thumright:

I agree, the south is still hot but I smell fall. Gotta watch my Ms. Bulldogs play KState today. 10 to 3 State right now.

Nice to see that your feeling better. Your hunts seem to be getting longer. Nice finds. Congrats

Jeff, um, actually I spent all morning getting ready for the floods! Unfortunately I started 1 hour AFTER the first flash flood of the day. Tomorrow and Monday heavy rain, Tuesday rain, Wednesday thundershowers, Thursday into the weekend a HURRICANE, maybe followed by two more. Hurricanes. Any wind here is going to take out a lot of trees. The water table is so high here on places in my lawn there is NO LAWN, just a lake. Now some 7 hours later the creek is back in its banks, but the heavy stuff comes tomorrow.

Test ran the whole house generator and went out and got a new small one, just in case. Checked the gutters and downspouts, made sure no trash was around 'cause I don't like trash on my lawn, bought a few extra batteries. Nap time now.

No snow. But I'm ready for that too!

Yes So much Water in the Ground here Streets Get Flooded,
Basements Need Pumped Etc. every time it rains. again.
Never Stops :( Though I sure HOPE it does here by Winter.
The 50 Inches or so of Rain we got the last 2 Months would probably Translate
to 40 feet of snow

dont say snow you could always smash your toe and forget about the heart and the back lol glad to see you getting out there and enjoying it

That is epic Jeff ! " beat the snow " you're such a drama queen !! I just love that your body is allowing you to get out for an hour or so !

Great weather to hunt! :icon_thumleft:

Snow? Hush

Have we ever seen you in a pic?

We got 90 degrees and the air is so thick it could be cut with a knife. I’ve got a bad back too, have you ever tried a tens device? It has kept me from calling in many many days. I hope you find some relief or at least a big chunk of precious metal.

CongratulationsJeff!

I know just how good that news is!:icon_thumleft:

I told you that once in a while just hunting quarters can feel good. :tongue3:

Hopefully Not. How about You ?
I'm Camera Shy :coffee2:

actually I have posted a pic of me ( I assume those ladies who saw it had it enlarged and posted on their walls)

Congrats on getting out Jeff, good to hear that there is less pain.
I saw a flock of Geese heading south 2 days ago. May be a sign of an early winter. It rained today and we're going to get more this week. Hurricane Florence is on her way towards the Carolinas. You guys be safe out there.

JEFF! Yes raining till Tuesday here too, we're not far apart. Then a hurricane sitting over us to give us some real rain, with two more hurricanes following somewhere. Hopefully they will go north in the middle of the Atlantic.

So Thursday and on it's going to get interesting. County was down here Thursday freaking out over the bridge at my house, it is one of those kind with three huge pipes under the roadbed. They are afraid it will be destroyed in another flood. Had a flash flood of short duration yesterday am and a minor flood all day today. And it's still raining. BTW the county did NOTHING Friday or over the weekend to clear the debris.

It is so wet any wind will take out a bunch of trees. It's starting to shape up like Irene and Isabel. Track is more like Hugo or Floyd. I hate storms.
