Needed to recharge myself so I ditched some stuff early today to do some hunting before I went fishing. Seen many folks on here do quite well in tot lots so I stopped at a fairly new one in route to the landing. It has only been there a year or so and kind of an adult/kid fitness playground with some small stuff for the little ones. Came out with a little over 5 bucks in clad which included a Kennedy 50 centr. Didn't find much trash a few stainless washers and a nut driver for my drill . It was good to concentrate on the beeps and tones while leaving the other stuff in the past. :walk:

That's a big bass! Wishing you good luck and lots of fun in the tournament. I like to watch the pro fishermen on TV. My favorite is Mike Iaconelli because he is so passionate about his fishing, but I wouldn't want to live near him. LOL

So now you're hooked (nice pun, huh?) on tot lots, I betcha. I've found some gold jewelry in tot lots - so don't forget to dig all the iffy signals if you have the time.

yeah I think I have passed too many by, seen lots of good stuff from them on here folks found. This one I think no one swung on yet, it is only a year or so old. Some kids came up on bikes, asked if I found anything and told me they lost a ring. I asked if it was gold they replied oh yes pure gold. I knew they were pulling my leg but they watched me swing for a while. I kneel down a few minutes later and dug a pretty good size deep hole. Stuck my hand in and pulled out my class ring, yelling wow wow wow Their eyes got big as saucer plates. Bet tomorrow they are digging it with shovels.

Yes I fish love it, any kind at all but like freshwater bass fishing the best. I have met and know Mike he is a very nice guy and passionate about fishing for bass. Next time I see him I will get an autograph hat for you from him. I will see Randy Howell weekend after next if you want his autograph.

Yeah it is and I need to do much more of it :icon_sunny:

You did good, BEF. In fact better than what I did, went to get the inspection sticker on my car, I knew there was a park nearby, so I decided I would check it out. Only found like 48 cents. It was hot & muggy...couldn't wait to get back into the a/c car.

 RR

:sign10: That's a dirty trick, but a very funny one, to play on the kids. I usually tell them I'm looking for land mines. hehehe

YES! A hat signed by Mike would be AWESOME. I've seen Mike interviewed away from the water and he seems like a very nice guy. I love his fishing commercials - where he's got the body of a bass and he's swimming around looking at baits. Sorry, but I don't know the other fellow.

OK next time I see him I will get one for you, should be sometime this year. Here is Randy's link he is pretty good too
