I've lived next to this house for over 11 years and always wanted to hunt it. Since it was a rental there has been lots of renters over the years but I have never made friends with any of them... but finally my chance came this week... and I am glad I got that chance... now its has ended, I'll have to be happy with what I got.

Nice silver finds! My kids always love it when I bring home hot wheels!

This one has me a bit perplexed. It appears to be a CW corps badge, however the maltese cross design is for either the 5th or the 19th Corps. However, the "2" is what has me stumped. The 2nd Corps badge is a shamrock, but the font of the numbers on your badge, and the one pictured here are almost identical.

lots of goodies from that yard but why has it ended now?

well new renters have moved in and I'll have to get to know them or wait till they move out... the people that move into that house are not the friendliest people in the world it seems.

Looks like there is alot to be found there.

But you should find the owners instead of the renters. Judging by the turnover you could hit it every few months or so inbetween tenants ;D

Heck.. you could offer them a cake or something simple like that to break the ice. You might get right back in there... ;D

Nice haul it looks like you hit it as hard as you could for the time you had  . Sorry to hear the new tenants aren't very neighborly .I can relate , I just had some new neighbors move in behind me that look and act like gang bangers .

I had those too... or well wannabes... I did go as much as this 100 degree+ heat would let me... I went 4 or 5 times an hour to 2 each day.... still lots to cover and re-cover... I'm not going anywhere... I'll get a chance again... yards seem to consistently produce silver like this the best... I really like hunting yards... nothing real old... but always some silver in them yards.

yeah major drought here... 1/2 an inch of rain is all we go in over a month or so. The ground is very hard... I think its just my area... If I go east or south and its dry but sandy. gotta live with what we were given.
