House Tag?

[Garabaldi]

It has a number on back 1536. I found it in a park near houses that were built in the mid 1700's. Any idea what this could be?

not really there are many different on on the standing poles and i seen them that small
but it could also be a tool check

Kinda reminds me of mine. It says G-1506. I thought it was some kinda tag until the back was cleaned. The big hole on yours makes me think it was for a loop, not a nail. Yours is very small. I think some kinda ID tag.
