Click on the "insert image" icon which you will find just above the "Quick Reply" text box. You will then see a box that will give you the option to (first) "choose file" and (then) "uplode file" from your computer -or- type in a URL to link it to a pic on the web. Make sure the pic is in the right format: jpg, jpeg, png, gif.
