BBC....

You keep on 'em TH. I/all appreciate your vigilance.

Yes, it is pretty easy to "legally" buy a gun in Texas, if you meet the requirements. There are are a few, incidentally.

But ya know what? A lawbreaker/thug/murderer/rapist/thief won't care if he breaks the law procuring a firearm anyway.

Brovo, Texas also put in express lane on death sentences too I believe...

I once heard a lib. say "I am totally against the death penalty and anyone that's for it should be killed"

Same thing as when I bump into a person who holds themselves up as being "pro life" from an abortion standpoint and pro death penalty. Never got that one?? Or someone who says they follow the teachings of Jesus or Buddha and are pro death penalty. But I guess life is full of contradictions that just can't be explained? Or just really confused and it stupid people.

If you want to see it look for it,Im no mans servant.I dont spoon feed anymore. It gets old.

That'll be a "no" then. Ok thanks.

Pro life vs pro death One has a choice and the other someone else made their choice. Billions of people have been killed following teachings of all kinds of beliefs. Can't really discuss any of this on this forum. It would be a fun debate but no one would win.

Discussions are never about winning, just about learning. Exercising the brain. That's the way I look at it at least.

Do you think Jesus would be pro-gun? You think he would be packing?

It is easy to buy a legal gun in most states as it should be. When I lived in Minnesota on my 21st birthday I went and bought 3 hand guns because I could. I had my conceal and carry and they took my drivers license and thats all it took besides the FBI background check. The same goes for the state I call home now, Iowa. All you need is a permit to carry or a permit to buy in order to purchuse a handgun. I have my permit for Iowa as well and when I bought my AR15 like 5 years years ago all I had to do was show them my drivers license my permit and pass the back ground check. It is our right to own guns in this country.

This is a clip from the BBC. It shows just how easy it is to buy a gun in Texas.

Well Duh!! Of course it's easy. Most of us own guns, were raised with guns, hunt, have home protection. You need no permits except to buy a new weapon from a dealer and then there are federal forms, but guns are sold, traded and purchased new and unfired, in the box, even have the warranty papers. Perfectly legal to sell your brand new gun that you bought on sale somewhere because you need the money terribly. Of course the price charged might be retail plus, but you can do it multiple times. You can get whatever you want if you are willing to pay for it. Had a friend that had a gun store right north of town. For his special customers he took the gun outside, fired it once and sold it as USED. He bought weapons from going out of business stores and "other places" for a huge discount, then sold them at a reasonable price and still made money. Wish he hadn't retired. Screw the BBC, and yes we have an express lane for third time offenders. No waiting, go right to the head of the line and be executed. Old Texas justice, Give em a fair trial, then hang em. Judge Roy Bean would be proud...
