How I clean my iron relics..

cool, need a couple before and after shots of both the lock and the hoe. big difference. looks like a safer method versus the stainless sacrifice metal.

Thanks bro I have boxes of old locks knives horse shoes and bling I always though about getting a kiddie pool and dropping a power line in it lol Thanks for the video. Tommy

Nice video. I've been zapped a couple times when I thought the charger was unplugged. It was only a small tingle. It hasn't killed me...yet. I would not drill a hole and put a screw in. I've seen other people suggest this. If a relic has a little rust on it, all I do is wiggle the battery clip to it. This makes a good contact. If there is a lot of rust, I will knock it off with a small hammer and scrape it with the end of a file to get a clean contact. Electrolysis is fun.

I used a tiny bit, I dont want to stick my battery charged connectors in the solution as it will eat them up after awhile.

It won't eat the negative in the solution. I have the negative in the water all the time attached to the relic. Keep the positive out of the water as it will corrode away to nothing.

Nice video, thank you for sharing! :occasion14:

Thanks for that tip!
