The following question there is no right or wrong as a guesstimate in understanding peoples perception of what percentage of treasure stories actually lead to treasure.

A. Between 0 - 5%
B. Between 5 -10%
C. Between 10 - 25%
D. Between 25 - 50%
E. Between 50 - 75%
F. Between 75 - 90 %
G. Between 90 -95%
H. Between 95 - 100%

I hope you all find it interesting To have some input by giving a Letter of the percentage from table above.

C, a trend now

edit: fun, but going to be skewed
are past found treasures based on tales to be included?
what time frames and which continents and which cultures?

I am lost.

edit 2: what about an archie who follows the instructions and finds treasures?
several times
thinking of a German here
a D seems quite possible

Your going to have to find them first, tell me how many cashes are there that are long forgotten...

A

But damn if they aren’t entertaining.

Can you revise "A" to "0-1%"? Even that seems generous.

Treasure stories are by their very nature going to be little more than folklore. "Real" treasure stories are probably only told once or twice, resulting in recovered treasure and closed mouths.
