Mike: Depends on which Pound you're talking about! Troy Pound= roughly 75 nickels, 164 dimes, 65 quarters, & 33 halves!
Avoir. Pound= 90.7 nickels, 200 dimes, 80 quarters, & 40 halves!

Mike: The Figures I gave you were for Current Coins!
Silver Coins are Different! Troy Lb. .10= 149, .25= 59.7, .50= 29.8
Avoir. Lb. .10= 181.4, .25= 72.5, .50= 36.2 > .05 War Nickels= same

Other Coin Trivia: Max. Allowable Coins in a 1 Gal. Jar: .05= 5252, .1 = 7771, .10= 10,500, .25= 4200, .50= 2100
It works out to $1050 per Gal, Whether all one type or mix of .10, .25, & .50!
