how much dose a silver clad proof weigh

I have quiet a few post 1970 halfs with s mint mark. how can i tell if they are silver. Thanks for the input. HH

Most post 1970 S proofs are clad. The only 40% coin after 1970 is a 1976-S that needs to weigh 11.5g. From 1992 on the mint issued 90% proofs that weigh 12.5 grams.
