How old is this ring an musket ball

The ring is around a size 6 or so. It says 10k on it it appears to have a SMALL diamond between the 4 small dots on the front. The musket ball is a grayish color it has a cast line through the middle not sure on the age. If you know the age on either please comment.

I suspect your nickle is your dating of all 3 items(generally)in the 40s the u.s.govt decreed that gold of 10k or higher be marked with the K.the style seems right too.the musket ball may be slingshot ammo.firing that crude thing out of a barrel seems unlikely.are the balls steel or lead?
