I got about 200 wheat pennies in a garage sale. The owner had cleaned them and they now look bright and that sucks because they are from Good to fine and a few very fine. but don't look good because of the shiny surface no one will believe.

I want to age them some to get back to the duller copper patina.

I tried one internet two internet formula and one actually made the test ones brighter.
The other one is mixing up boiled egg yoke with water is still in the test mode for a few days.

I know this is a crazy request, but I don't know what else to do with these coins.

Leave them outside on the lawn for a couple weeks? I've never tried that. Now if your pet would eat them or the neighbor's kids swipe them, never mind.

Yeah, just bury them for awhile. Oh, patina, not crud. My bad.

Try a few coins left outside in the open sunshine, turn them over ever other day. Let us know what IS and IS NOT working.
