how to calculate amount of gold in a spot with a gold pan?

have found a spot with 5-6 fines per 1/3 unclassified shovel and am wondering how much that would add up too if classified and if i run around 10-5 gal buckets trough my sluice, i am new to prospecting and any feedback would be great

It talks about a formula in a kind of spreadsheet template (in Excel) for evaluation/analysis of mineral deposits . as the thread starter has said his purpose is to promote ease of use.

This thread subject matter may be different since he has another different set of data elements , but it might ignite some Aha ! moment in an Excel whiz among you guys !
