Wasn't sure where to post this so I hope this is okay but I am just now getting some nice coins I want people to be able to see, what is an easy way to display them while keeping the coins safe? Thanks

You want people to see them? I thought we all buried them in our yards? Well, I guess if you want to display them, a shadow-box style coffee table is a great way to display some finds while still keeping them "safe".

Bury them in our yards lol. And can't do a coffee table as cool as that would be. I'm 17 and don't have a house lol

Thanks I like that, there's a lot of good options everyone is giving me

Good from an organization stand point, but a pain showing someone because you have to slide them out of the plastic sleeve to get a good view. I used to do that, but now just keep my coins in 2x2s in a small cardboard box. I figure displaying them just for me is pointless, and whenever I show someone it's always coin by coin so now I just give them the box and let them go through.

That's great input, thanks I didn't think about that

I prefer to display them in someone elses' collection! :laughing7:

yes, i agree about the trouble of sliding them in and out of the holders. It really depends on how much you plan to show people, mine are more for storage/easy oragnization.

There's always coin albums. Dansco, Harris, and Littleton make nice albums. If you're not the complete-collection sort, there's always the option of Air-Tites, their holders, and a nice professional box for storage. I will likely go this route for the better coins I find that can't really go into one of my albums. The best part about the Air-Tites is that you can dump them into a jar or box and the hard plastic will protect the coins better than a bunch of 2x2 foldovers ever will.
