25 CS Buttons... I think you are the winner of most CS buttons dug in Virginia this month !! Good job.

Do you find many coins with HOLES in them ? They tend to pop up here more often I have heard a theory that Union Men would Hole a coins so they could run a string through them and wear about their neck so the did not loose them Just curious ?

Nice, very nice.

Just one 1887 Indian head penny with a hole. Which is kinda strange. None of the 10 or so large cents had holes. We didn't find any period seated coins or bust coin. But I do feel we might have missed them do to the large amount of targets and short amount of time.

I feel your pain buddy. The virgin confederate camp I had adjacent to my property I have hunted for the last 10 years is now covered up by chicken houses and a haul road in between each one. Luckily I had permission to hunt it as they dozed off layers of dirt to replace with fill. So sad to see history get covered up in this way but that's what u and I and all the other detectorists are here for. Saving the history so others may learn.

Sweet finds, congrats and HH!

Amazing finds! Wish we had areas like that around here in Central FL.

Dang now thats a hell of a haul ! I am impressed !

Thanks. This used to be the norm in The 70's but not any more. I don't think most folk here understand the once in a life time kinda spot this is.
