Huge class ring

Found this nice class ring and the 57 Rosie. It was definitely a great day. Unfortunately no markings to identify the owner.

It does give the name of school and year but there are no owner identifiers anywhere on the ring.

Trying from the few contacts I have in the town I found it in. Not sure how well it will go, but I am making an effort.

Very nice find! Tough decision on those sometimes with no intials. Facebook has 3 groups for class ring finds and returns. Not sure if you can access old lost and found ads in the local papers. Mine here are on microfiche/film. I somtimes can trace a lost item that way.

My tips: Look for online class reunion notifications, especially 5, 10,20, 25, 30 years; heck, even 50.
If not online, contact the school for Reunion information for that class; they may be able to provide the contact person.
That contact person may have an Email list of his/her class. Solicit that person to assist in the hunt for the owner.
