Huge Kentucky Clovis found!

This sucker is just over 5" with it's base missing!!! Found in Christian County KY. Break looks as old as point and believe was used even snapped as has wear and grinding on beveled fractured base. Wow this things a beast.

Cool looking piece. I’ve seen several large Cumberlands from Kentucky used with a broken base like that.

Did you find it? That’s a banner worthy find if you pulled it from the dirt.

the stem does appear to be starting to expand toward the basal end.

That's a Ross Clovis. You can tell by the large flat flake scars. Look it up! Lots of Cumberland stuff coming out near Russelville lately. Gary
