Today was my best day ever by far! To make a long story short and get to the good stuff, the first ten banks I stopped at had no halves. I was getting a little bit down, but finally one bank had six CWR rolls. When I got them all but one had dates written down the sides (2000-2001, 1990-1997 ect...). One roll said 1967-1997. I got pretty excited and tore open the roll to find a 67 and a 68! It was missing the 69 and 70, but I was happy. Now that I had paid for my gas, I decided to hit another part of town. The first bank I stopped at had $42.50 in halves. As the teller was pulling them out I saw five solid silver edges being pulled out of her drawer. That alone got me excited so I asked if one person had brought in all of the halves. She said yes so I was even more excited. She handed me the rolls and I could tell that they were heavier than usual. I walked out to my car and tore them open. Here is what I got:
Roll 1: 13 silvers= 11 40%'s, 2 90%'s
Roll 2: 16 silvers= 13 40%'s, 3 90%'s
Roll 3: 19 silvers= 18 40%'s, 1 90%
Roll 4: 18 silvers= 16 40%'s, 2 90%'s (63 Franklin, my first!)
tt: 5 silvers= 3 40%'s, 2 90%'s
Other 18+ banks= 3 40%'s
64 40%'s
10 90%'s
13.0822 Oz for $336.16
So I would have to say that I had a pretty good day! I will post pictures in just a little bit. I forgot to take a lot of picture because I was too excited.
