Man oh man what a nice day today in the lane


Had to wear a sweat shirt in the a.m. hours, but then it warmed and became a very nice day for everyone in the lane. I did not see any other hunters today, but I was a bit north of the normal lane zone where we spin most of the time, glad I decided to go north

Sounds nice again for Sunday, hopefully I can get up in time for more low tide work, I missed all the good stuff this morning, waves were coming in when I arrived late.

TENDER FOOT

i use excalibur may thru nov. most of the time, i waterproofed my exp II and i used it oct/nov.............thru.........april or so, but about 3 weeks ago i bought myself a new sovereign GT and then i bought a hula hoop coil for it (W O T)................got it wed. of this week, so i have been using it since.

i had older sovereign for about 12 years, but i sent it to my daughter in bolder, co. last year.

the new GT is like my old sov...................few more whistles - no big deal.

i am a die hard minelab kinda guy. i hunt only the beach and they all work ok in that zone...................may give the dirt a try some this winter with some of my relic buddies.
