Like the title says, I hunted three beaches today and the last one paid off. The first 2 I hunted for an hour each and had a grand total of 1.12 in clad. I hit another beach on my way home where I have been getting silver coins pretty regular, 12 so far this year. Started down by the water and was only getting trash so I worked my way up the beach and hit a coin line. Almost every target was a green nickel, I kept thinking there has to be gold with all these nickels. Pretty soon I hit a solid 17 on the nox I dug the target and went to the water to wash out the scoop. There’s no feeling like looking into the scoop and seeing a gold ring.
I didn’t take pictures because there were to many people around. I looked inside and saw 18k and and stuck it in my pocket, spent another hour there and mostly found clad pennies after that.
Total for the day was 2.10 in clad and the ring weighs just over 9 gramsView attachment 1873809View attachment 1873810View attachment 1873812View attachment 1873813View attachment 1873814View attachment 1873815View attachment 1873809View attachment 1873810View attachment 1873812View attachment 1873813View attachment 1873814View attachment 1873815
