Hunting After Work Barely Lasts An Hour, Then It's Dark

The days are getting pretty short in my area. I just had to get out and get some dirt on my fingers. Seven days of not metal detecting is enough to make a grown man cry .

Got about an hours worth of hunting in. Got some loot and other junky targets.

John, for an hours detection you still did fairly well. Do you get many Loonies & Toonies?

I average about 2-300 loonies ($1.00) and usually under 100 toonies ($2.00) a year. I find a lot of them in the lakes, the beaches and sports fields.

May I suggest a headlight? We hunted last night until 10:00 and found some great stuff.
