The weekend before Thanksgiving I was out with Tim & Mayo for a
river hunt and struck it big. . . almost :P A real heartbreaker in the
truest sense. All I can say is this ring looked REALLY good in the mud
(and I could hardly wait to show Mr. Senior 8)) but after closer scrutiny,
it was just a flash in the pan. . . gold-plated with CZ stones. . . ah poop!

A week later, Tim, Neil & I got out closer to home and hit the
woods while the weather was still kind. The area we hunted had been
"cherry-picked" for MOST of the silver but there were still some goodies
left. . . including a 1908 Barber Dime and a few CJ prizes (
)
I also recovered a bronze, cattle horn tip and an old lipstick case that's seen
better days.
Thanks for looking!
