Thanks...I got stuck between the eroded bank and a large wave this afternoon..LOL. I went for quite a ride. All the way into the surf..haha.

Yes i saw it in person, was there at the place actually, but the surf was so rough and seas so high, I saw it hitting the area we go to, so i did not venture out further. Good thing you are a strong swimmer!

Nice pics Bill. I have video of the wave action and even a surfer who tried to get out there, crazy as he was. The waves were just enormous and fascinating! See below:

It looked like an amusement park in the fossil area when I first got there. people even had hand rakes. I was pretty bummed out at first. If you saw a guy with a camouflage hat and a red and black backpack.. that was me.

Hand rakes? Awww that's depressing....I did not stay long, waves were just crashing too hard and fast. I did get some pics of the parking lots, all sea water. had to rinse my truck off when I got home, that sea salt will just eat at everything.
