Should I rent a bungalo for the season?

Cappy I don't want to "burst your bubble" but the hardest wrecks to work on are the ones close to shore, because of the wave action and poor visibility.
You would need to move tons of sand to hit rock bottom and for that you need a pump.

nothing I say or wish will change things. I have yet to see an Andrew size storm hit up here, like we had in 92 (or 93?) Then the insurance cos. will have something to complain about. I already lost three insurance companies. POE was last to be liqudated on July 1st. Sold my house a week ago before being State insured. The only two cos. left are Allstate and State Farm and they wont take new customers.

How about buying a boat instead. After the storm has passed slip the boat in on the US1 side @ grant. Cruise over to the other side, park on land and sneak over to the beach!

You also need a safe place to keep the boat through the storm. I will consider it.
I am thinkng of sleepng in my car for a few days wth supples (food, gas, water, batteries, etc.) or rentng a room and hunkering down.
Maybe I can rig some cable tie-downs for my car or van. I dont like the van because it blows around easier, but it can hold more supplies, even a generator. I wll start rigging soon.

I havent heard from Cappy Z. I think he took off work and is using the Thixotropic Device (TD) on the Treasure Beaches. I hope you find more gold than sand fleas! Keep us posted.
