Ok allow me to begin I'm new here on this forum and this is my second post after the introduction section. My father passed and left me with alot of things that are just so overwhelming. He left a Hydraulic Jack in our living room (don't even ask why) and I have no clue what to do with it. I do not have time to sell things, can't have a yard sale in my apartment, I do not trust Craigslist. The jack's painting is chipping off and so is the label. It feels like it weight like 40 lbs or more. I think my father purchased it during the early 80's. I wonder can it be scraped or recycle? Also I'm naive in "treasure" area. Is there a difference between scraping and recycling? or are they the same? I have posted an image of this jack for anyone to see. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated:

Wouldn't call it a treasure
its a modern 2 ton jack that you can still by
Maybe you can find a collector of that brad of jack but the label is not real good
I would just use it
IMO

I would post it on Craig's list, you have nothing to loose
I assume it works?
There's no great value in this item,
Brady
