I just got my first MD!!!
I bought a Minelab X-Terra pro!

It should be here by Tuesday, so then I can totally try and find some cool stuff!!!

Nah, I was kidding. My ratio of "good stuff" to trash is probably 10:1, if even that. Good stuff, including glad.
For me, it's ALL about having fun when it comes to beach detecting!!! 8)

yeah... i guess... but i have two kids and have been fighting cancer for almost a year now... so
i have kinda a full plate right now! but i will detect the beaches.. and post all my pull tabs i find!

I got a new MD 2 years ago for Christmas but have never used it. I really don't have a clue where to go or for that matter how to use it. I live in East Tennessee anybody got any ideas where I can go to find some cool stuff?

Be sure and read your Owner's manual a couple of time's until you understand it then go out and bury some coins and pultabs and a nail at different depths to get the feel for your machine. Learn what it is telling you and you will find some cool stuff. Cliff

Hard to believe......your original post was in January, and people are still giving advise on getting started.
By now you should be up and running. What goodies have you found? Can you make us jealous yet?
