1 bonus was a round 4" coil which i just stuck it on a shelf. after hunting a trashy area with a 11" coil i was willing to give it a go. well i tried it today and of course it's a lot of work to cover an area but you can narrow down a dig spot so good you don't need pinpoint. so i am impressed with it if i use it in a trashy area. take care and for me in the woods detecting and going to the battlefields to hike the trails keeps me virus free.

The small coil is very useful and can be frustrating, It's like you have to slow down and pretend to scub the area in order to cover it effectively.

Ex: White's Spectrum XLT, Tesoro Cutlass II Umax, and that circa late 70's red handled junk from RadioShack that started it.
Get a another lower.

I use dedicated lowers for my coils. I electrical tape the lower cable enough that there's strain free leeway when I fold the coil for my pack.

Do not underestimate those smaller coils. I have both DD, and concentric smaller coils for my Tesoro.
