I'm thinking it might be part of an iron horse spur. :icon_scratch:

I've never seen an iron Jew's Harp before, I've only found brass or bronze examples.

Maybe I have a unique example but i don’t buy the iron / brass distinction anymore after finding an iron core buckle with a brass or similar colored plating.... same with gun parts I’ve got a lock plate from the same site that is iron and I suspect may have once been plated the same way
