I recently got this item,The main reason is that i collect local(Erie,PA.)items and this caught my intrest..BUT what is it It appears to be a strecher,ferno,etc.but not sure so any help will be greatly appreciated!

it's what they put you on back in the day with a neck or spine injury. Used , to carry by a number of people , usually at a pool,in an ambulance, fire truck for off road crashes, that type of thing.
