I did something today I don't normally do....

I ran a factory preset mode and it paid off quite well. I started in my no-disc mode and hit an area they sounded like a machine gun going off. So, I decided to use the silver program instead because I wasn't in the mood for all the iron and pull tab noise. I was able to focus on the repeatable high tones and started pulling wheats and silvers out. I dug all but the compact within an hour after switching over. The black disc is a silver war nickle that's absolutely cooked, the compact gave a deep penny reading and was a solid 12" down, the depth meter was off by 4" as it was reading 8" I'm really enjoying the CTX since I started using it 3 weeks ago. I have the 17" coil coming, but I'm thinking should have kept my 6" instead.
