I dug this mornin............

I woke up real early this morning and headed out.... cranked some zeppelin and poured hot chocolate down me from the thermos on the way and thought out where I would start on my site when I got there. It was hard to bring myself to leave the warm truck but I had overalls on and a couple layers underneath. I dug until about 11:30 and was too worn out to keep going....came out with this and some tools and scrapers.

Good job with the Flint. I see you don't like picking up the same piece over and over again either. I always do that.. pick it all up.

I used to keep all the flakes. I pick them up and toss them now. I don't like picking the same pieces up either.

I save the bigger ones and put them in a mason jar for decoration. I like all the different colors. Depends where I am at on the small ones. I sometimes I leave them lying so as to mark my spot for further hunts and finds if I find nothing in that spot. Other times I will mark trees.

I filled up this real cool looking old real big jar full of only red and cream flintridge flakes and chunks summer before last and put it in a little rock garden spot i have at the end of the driveway. didnt last too long winter came and froze the jar and busted to pcs. you learn something new everday.
