I finaly found a dream site! **MORE NEW CLEANED PICS AT END OF THREAD!**

By chance i ran across a different set of old plat maps that showed a mid 1800s campground. Long story short i made a half hour hunt to check it out . Great spot open woods soil good to copper. I found this Indian in the first 5 minutes almost no corrosion. There's at least 20 acres to hunt. I have no idea what kind of camp. It was. All my future hunts will be there for a long time to come!

Thanks The KLR was much cheaper than a 4x4 quad. Plus 60 at mpg it pays for its self in savings. I am going back for a serious hunt with my WOT coil right now. I am hoping to dig a 2 cent or a seated. But really I am grateful to hunt a place where you can swing a coil unimpeded by thorny jungle.

Went back today and found 4 Indian cents. Thats a record for me! Ill post more pics after they are clean I can't see any dates yet._

That MC you found in the woods is in great shape...how deep was it... I miss my Harley...

Went back for one more quick hunt before cleaning the first 4. Got 2 more and a barber. This spot is loaded. 7 1800's coins in one day!

Here's a close up of the 1873 with "close 3". So glad to get a site with kind soil!
