I finely hit Gold...10K White Gold Ring

I was able to get out for a couple of hours this afternoon. I hit 2 rings, 1 silver and 1 junk, so I thought. I also got 2,700 yen ($34 us). Later that afternoon, I was sitting at the table looking at one of the rings I found and noticed that it was stamped K10. I thought that was strange because it was tarnished black just like silver. So I called up Nate, aka "Bobbypins" to have him test it. Well it was good timing because he just got back from a hut with Jason. They both looked at it and said silver. Well Nate got his test kit out and it tested out as 10K @ 5.5 grams, When I got home I hooked it up to a little homemade electrolysis unit I made for 20 mins and it cleaned right up.

That guy passed the 10K acid test with flying colors. I would have thought it was silver from the get go. Good thing you looked at it closer and saw the K10 stamp.
