I found a meteorite... maybe?

I found a rock that has an odd form. I heard if you stick a magnet to it and it ssticks its a meatorite. The magnet I have is quite strong but barely wants to stick... dies that mean its not a meatorite?

There is many threads here and elsewhere on how to identify a meteorite. You live in a wet climate, and I dont know of any finds there in KY. Also a few types of rocks will stick to a magnet or even be magnetized. I would suggest posting a picture here so I can see it. Most meteorites, except for the really rare ones have certain features about them. Maybe this thread can be moved by a moderator to the proper forum so you and others can see for yourself. Dont stop looking. There is other ways you may be able to make a find out of this.
