That's an odd looking ring. Think it's old?

HOOK THATS SOME NICE FINDS ,THE OLE BROOCH IS NEAT .

At first glance, I thought that was a Claddagh Ring. Looks like it had a stone.
Congrats on a nice hunt

Nice ring and other finds!

is it a spoon ring or is it a clasped hands "irish" claddah type ring?

I am heading out to a 26 Acre Soy Bean Field in the Morning. I hope I have the same results as you.
I hope you find way more!

My gut reaction is early 1900's, I just spent 30 minutes looking at the silver marks encyclpedia, no luck There is a triangle with a clear W in it?

The fake stone is gone, there are some tiny fake ones still on the sides, thanks.

Nice ring and other finds!
Thanks

These pix should help, I zapped and baking soda paste cleaned her. It has a stone in it, surrounded by stones on both sides.

Nice digs Brad, I have yet to pull anything cool from a field yet. Plenty of farm equipment parts and some old lead plumbing. Maybe someday I can dig a few cool pieces from a field.

Random fields might work, a little research goes a long ways for field hunting, there must be some good ones, Ohio has some great history?

The field I have hunted, used to have 3 structures on it back in the 1800's. The last building (an old house) was destroyed by a tornado back in 1965. I did dig a coin (1964D memorial penny). This little field is in the center of a township and is at the intersection of a small town that never grew. The field is only 4.93 acres.

I know of a field that held the 1st local fair back in the 1860's. The land has since been subdivided between 3 properties. I have received one "NO" so far, 2 more people to ask.

Looks like a Great hunt Brad!! NIce save on the Sterling!!

Cool finds. Possibly late 1800's on the ring?
