I found this metal that has 1914- 1915 on the front. On the back it has S9811. PTE. J. M. McGurie. R. Highrs . I was wondering if you guys from Britain could give me some information about this metal. Thanks for any help.

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

I am not from Britain, but I can tell you that medal is awesome. Congrats!

Absolutely a once in a lifetime opportunity to do the research and bring this medal back to this soldiers family. It very well may not mean that much to the current family members, but then again, it might. What will mean something is that YOU found it, and gave of yourself to make sure the right thing was done, or at the very least, attempted. Good luck in your journey, and make SURE to report back the results of your adventure!
