LOL... I HATE That response from my lady...

I finally confronted her about it. I asked if she liked it when I paid attention to her when she tells me about her day. She said, "well, yeah."

I then asked nicely, if she wouldn't mind getting just a LITTLE bit interested when I have a great day detecting. It was a like a light bulb.

Now, when I come in, her first question is "Did you find anything great?" and she takes 30 seconds to oogle my finds. I love it, even though I KNOW she's doing it to humor me. She's never sarcastic about it or anything, and shows genuine interest for 30 seconds. Beyond that, it's hit and miss. LOL

Ultimately, I believe she loves asking me now, not because of the finds, but because I love it when she asks.

Come to think of it, I think we kind-of have a love-fest thing going on. Pretty lucky guy, that way.

Edit: I'm slow today. I thought you actually found gold. I get it now.

Actually, her response is in fact an inside joke,.... That's nice honey, and yes honey, are traded between us daily, for mundane comments, and useless banter...
