I found Jesus today in the dry sand....and a Heartbreaker "gold" chain

Hi,

Was out mid-morning today for 2 hrs., too late for low tide detecting .......hunted dry sand and wet shoreline.

I tell you, that "gold " chain looked soooooooo good at the edge of the shoreline, but as soon as I picked it up .....light as a feather, I knew I had been scammed.




Next time.....

But later , in dry sand I retrieved a small silver earring ...Jesus image; I was happy with this find.

It's solid, Seeker.....and the gold test kit showed "not gold"; I might take one of the links off and check it further.

I feel your pain, Lorraine. I pulled a half pound 16 inch "gold" chain necklace out of the water this morning. Nice color, ridiculous weight, and oh so fake. Why would anyone wear that?
