I found my favorite so far!!!

Woke up early today had a lot of work to take care of, but I deeded a little break and took a quick trip to a construction permission I have near my house. This time I used 50 tones and I really like it. I swear I at least need to hunt everyday.
Got a 1906 V nickel IHP
Cool aluminum trade token
Tip of a silver plated spoon
And my ultimate favorite the Root-beer swirl marble!!

Nice finds! The John P. West token is from Clayton, Alabama. He is listed there as a retail druggist in the 1910-30 Censuses. The token is not listed in Wood's Alabama Trade Tokens book, nor is it on tokencatalog - with your permission and the diameter, I'd like to post it on tokencatalog.

Druggists often had tokens that were good for a soda. They were used when a customer came in to have a prescription filled - rather than having the customer hang around the counter bothering and distriacting the pharmacist, the customer was sent off to the soda fountain in the front of the store to enjoy a soda. I can imagine that 5¢ was added to the price of the prescription in many cases.

Great saves, Truth! Having a marble as a favorite find might have sounded strange to me a few years ago, but I've grown fonder of them thru Tnet, and actually bought a bag of assorted marbles at a flea market last week. Congrats on some really awesome finds, Ddf.

I can't tell whether it would help to tumble it - is the area around the state name stuff that is on the surface, or is it the white Aluminum oxide thanks to the tinworms?

Yeah most of the time these aluminum ones get toasted bad. This on is one of the finer ones I’ve found as far a aluminum goes.
