I finally got out for a couple hours today. I have 3 yards to do in town. These are the finds from the first one after a couple hours hunting. The yard was loaded with trash and I'm sure there's more there. I found a 1918D Mercury dime, my second silver piece for this year. Three coins total for the day. I'm not sure what the piece shown with the dime is. It's not aluminum or lead. As you can see I was finding the usual junk for an in town yard. There's alot of recycleable metal there. The weather is to get warmer so I hope to spent some more time in this yard tomorrow and maybe hit one of the others. DD

Nice silver...waited for you all these years

That other little piece looks like silver. Good job picking your way through all of the trash.

Awesome find Congratulations

Nice merc. That's a lot of targets there, lots of getting up and down.

:hello: :icon_thumleft: Great 1918 Merc. I believe the other silver looking piece is a silver III cent piece. By looking closer at the picture, I do believe I see the Roman Numerals III on it.
