I found SUPERMANS LOST RING... Now looking for Wonder Womans...

Lots and lots of trash... then this...


Got it home and cleaned up to see the damage...
Not the missing enamel in this pic...


But the damage I think I did with scoop...
Which is a rare for me...


But that is ok... I am now Superman with this ring...
And will bend silver with my bare hands...
And a couple of my Jewelers tools...


Good as new... Errr or good enough...
Buffed some scratches and tarnish... more to go...


By the marks it is a Taxco piece.


Weight = 12 grams...

I associate success with profit sometimes with stuff like this...
That sounds bad kinda...
But it is what it is.
When you have swung a detector for most of your life it tends to get that way.
When you have found gold and other precious metals throughout your life... you lean that way mentally.

Yep I think that's pretty naturally. When you find some amazing stuff the good stuff just doesn't seem as exciting. I used to go crazy with a large cent. After you find some colonial silver it's just not quite the same. Stiff fun but not like you just found the holy grail anymore.

As the camera was "panning around" I was watching real close for someone in a superman outfit to emerge from woods or something.
OR you were gonna pan down and see a superman bathingsuit on the bench or ground...

Worked in a fish store as a kid. People used to ask me if I smoked fish. My smartalek reply always was "Yeah, it's just real hard to keep em lit!"
