When back today to the place I found my plate and all the sling buckles and adjusters, and everything but the sword hanger.. The keeper was about 50 yards from were I found the plate.. Its funny the plate was only about 4inch down. This keeper was way down, every bit of 9 or 10 inch, in hard dry soil..
I was almost as happy as when I found the plate.
So after 150 years give or take they are back together again, and they are appreciated to say the lest!!
Thought you guys would like this.
Thanks for looking George

Thanks Chris,
Now I have 2 complete sword belt plate.. What are the odds on that??
God I love this hobby.

In your area, with all the history, I'd say you have the upper hand on the odds!, lucky lucky sob lol

Beautiful Display, Never thought of looking for the keepers. If I find ( 1 ) it will be in a 3 to 4 mile stretch of Beach that I detect- and probably as deep as yours- goldnugget

George. I'm impressed! You find great things because you do the work.

Incredible man! I took the day off to have "The Day of Brad" and detect all day. 9 hours later and I had 2 buttons and 2 toasted coins. I can't compete with "The summer of George" and you're all like "I also got this silly silver spoon from 1820 too". Haha. Just awesome finds man. I'm so psyched for you finding this.
