WEll I found them in my Misc boxes and was inspecting some stuff better.

So the cresecent peice. It is heavy cast brass. Perhaps a sort of a buckle?

A pewter Counterfiet LC its the Braided hair type. Trouble is that the images are reversed? Any thought?

Also a sweet lil colonnnial buckle. ITs tiny and im not sure as to its application.

Finally, obviously a musket cap that has been cut into a cross by hand and the 4 ends folded in CORP BADGE???

Hey Brutha Man! Very interesting indeed. That little buckle is very nice. That percussion cap looks similar to many 'spent' ones that I've found over the years...many times when the hammer falls on them they split into four halves like that......That little colonial buckle is Awesome though! Not sure about the Crescent piece, looks like the 'lip' may have fit into a piece of wood or something...The piece of metal looks like it was formed from a LC the way it is pressed into it...very interesting man

Yeah the buckle is cool. I thought that the cap looked a bit too symetrical to have been blown out but probly. Glad to see you posting again lol. Now what since the honey do list is clean?

Nice finds James. That buckle is cool.

Lovely little buckle :o
In really like counterfiets & Impressions.
Great Finds

As you probably know the small one is described as a shoe or knee buckle from 1660-1720 :icon_thumright:

The larger brass item could be horse related, & may have a looped strap go through it, but its a wild guess.

:hello2:
The buckle is nice early one---congrats James!--------keith

Yeah! The buckle is awesome, JB! :icon_pirat:
