cool ,how long is that barrel??
brad

That poor thing is hammered.

"If it could only talk,..... I'd like to hear the tale.

Very crusty but still cool. I was expecting another cap gun or plastic and I was going to have to let out a loud groan and a shame on me for clicking. Cool surprise

Crusty but trusty...lol...cool find!!

Reminds me of an h&r expert 22 revolver but not sure

Whoa, that is one crusty gun. Could be real, but also could be a cap gun, I've seen them before with the really long barrels:

Either way, pretty cool

Very nice find Freakn .

Mine is not quite in the same shape. Mine has a shoulder stock to convert it from pistol to rifle.

Nice one Simon I don't think he will recover enough out of his gun to verify its the same :)

Interesting find. Congrats

cool find. since it is completely encrusted in rust (including the entire butt), plus the rather odd shaped trigger guard I have no doubt it is an antique cast iron toy pistol. Probably dates to about the same period as the sad iron in the first pic

Awesome, I tend to lean toward cap gun because of the absense of any brass parts, trigger guard or side plate and hand grip frame work. Still neat though. Paul:coffee2:

Great find,congrats

Looks like a S&W 32 long hand ejector ?

Probably a S&W revolver. Backstrap looks like one. Remove some corrosion and take another pic.

A little electrolysis would bring that bad boy to life I would love to see whats under all that . Thats a really cool find.

Interesting find, perhaps a bit of cleaning will help. By the photo it may be tough to recover much "clean" metal. Good Luck! :icon_thumleft:
