The last few hunts have been short and sweet. I am warm blooded and can't handle this sub zero wind cutting into me while I am detecting.

I managed to find a couple of nice military buttons, my first 50-cent piece and a few relics and coppers.

1952 Canada 50 Cents. This one I found along the river. It is still quite tarnished...

Lamp Piece? STAR HR & H written on the round bit.

Those are some cool buttons... Its hard enough finding a flying eagle in the states and you found one in Canada... That 1/2 dollar is an awesome find....Canada has some great looking coins..Congrats

I love the look of the 'young Victoria' bust, it's much more appealing then the 'older version'!

This is an 1861 NS Cent I found here in Ontario this summer, here Vickie's starting to show here age!
