Under cloudy, overcast skies and dirty water due to recent flash flooding, I hunted for 4 hours in the semi clear, murky water.
No gold, only silver, titanium and some kind of unidentifable metal. The ring in question appears to be Chinese. It is fairly heavy, 8.7 grams, for a fairly small ring. It has a makers mark/identification and Chinese characters on the inside. I thought it was stainless steel but it passed the old magnet test with flying colors, speaking of which, it is kind of bronze colored. I hope someone on the forum can shed some light on this subject.

Sorry that I can't help in ID'ing that interesting ring..never saw one like it.

I thought it might be bronze, but its not tarnished at all. I have found bronze in salt water and it gets green and tarnished.
