I get to talk about Metal Detecting!

The Charlotte/Mecklenburg Public Library kick off their Summer Reading Program May 21st. One of their themes are "Beneath the Surface." I have been asked to speak to children 13-17 years old about Metal Detecting around June 11th! (One of my favorite subjects!) I can barely wait!

Set up an experiment to show the kids how electricity produces a magnetic field ...& how a magnetic field produces electricity.

PLEASE make note of Oersted. Faraday gets too much credit
