I got interested in this hobby Not bcuz of tv shows...

Hi everybody, I just order my first metal detector online today (tesoro silver umax) i can't wait. I always wanted to search for a treasure since i was a little kid, I remember me and my cousin would bury things (small toys) in my grandmas house in mexico, and we said that we would leave it there for years to come. I bet now there still there. Now that I have done some research I'm really excited to get my metal detector and try it out. My brother in law has an older metal detector and we tried it out in he's yard, man I was so happy when we found a penny. Its a shame how some times tv shows like american diggers can hurt this hobby. Im looking forward on meeting some new friends in this website.
