Minelab Explorer (is there another brand)
My wife wanted to try and take my daughters senior pictures on her own. I knew this was a bad idea from the begining. But she wanted to go to and old park and try it so I said that I would go along and detect while the photos were being taken.
I wasn't there 10 minutes and found the 1896. Thats when the wife comes over and tells me how mad the daughter is about the pictures and wants a professional to do them. I knew something like that was gonna happen. While everyone was fighting I managed to find another indian head. 1874 but junk. Thats why I hate "most" park finds, at least the Indian heads because they are toast. Not like yard finds. Oh well, two more for the taken. Jim

You never come away empty handed Jim, also good ones from the old farmhouse.
I went out for an hour yesterday, thought someone was watching me.
Turned around to see a red fox looking at me from about 200 feet away. It didn't look mangy but gave me the creeps to see one at noon. Got into the pickup and took off!

Hey Jim,

Still more Injuns! You are the man!

Duane, I know you weren't afraid of that little fox!

Thans Bob, the indians at the park were a surprise because I have been there a lot of times. Ya just never know. The signals were clear as day. Guess it just depends on the ground conditions sometimes.

Hey Duane, where is that old home located in your posts? The one from your bio I mean. Lets go detect that place. :o

WTG Jimbo! looks like no place is safe from that Minelab! AMC Rules that was not a fox it was a hound from hell!!!!!!!!!! better stay away from those old spots, Just give me the address's and I'll go make sure the boogy man don't get ya.lol

You guys are a riot! Jim that old home is from a picture I shot almost 30 years ago, you wouldn't recognize it now as it has been restored after being abandoned for years, ( Rives Twp, Henry rd). I was told that the owner years ago helped build and finance many barns built in the area, and his barn was one of the largest built at the time. I also remember a brick school house in that area that was torn down in the 1970's ( Rives Jct rd), a house was built on that spot. -- Duane
